“Feeling” June’s New Moon

The new moon tomorrow is stirring up big emotions which may have seen many of us tearing up, feeling very upset, and may have led to some arguments.

You cannot keep sweeping things under the carpet – emotionally. The New Moon is helping you to release and let go of some of the negative energy that has been building up.
This will help put certain topics as a point of discussion to find solutions and a way forward. So hold space for yourself, acknowledge and understand your feelings. If it involves how you feel about someone close to you or issues that have been difficult to approach, then this is the right time to sit down and talk openly.

Don’t let your past dictate how you see your future. The very strong and steady message I am being asked to share is that we need to keep the faith. This is the time to work hard to put work into motion but we need to be patient to see the progress.

People will grate on us and it will seem like we are pushing against the grain. Be patient and be kind. They will be going through the same things you are.

The energy will be shifting as we have two big events this month – the Full Moon on the 17th and Summer Solstice on the 21st. The Full Moon will be in Sagittarius which is going to trigger some leap of faiths and activate the adventurer in you. The the introvert and those who are prone to anxiety will already be triggered at this New Moon as you are being prepared to be pushed out of your comfort zone. Meanwhile Neptune will be Retrograding on the 21st which is also the Summer Solstice. All I will say now is that you are being prepared for face the music. Time to dig deep and really hold on to what is important to you.

New Moon Ritual:

~ Smudge the house with sage or frankincense. Start at the front of the door and go around the house and back to the same place.

~ Put your crystals out in clean cooled boiled water. Make sure to avoid crystals that dissolve in water. Check this list.

~ Prepare two sheets of paper. One is to set your intention and the other is your “let go” list. Start with your Intentions List – write down what you want more of, in your life. You can be as general or as specific as you want. Make sure it is something achievable. I find lottery wins unrealistic, instead ask for “a gift of money” which opens up the energy for other people’s money to reach you.

~ Now prepare your “Let go” list. Think about what the emotions are telling you, issues that have been cropping up, problems that seem to around you and look at how you can change it – is it your reaction, angry, passiveness or perhaps being too nice? Do you need to change a habit or be proud of your abilities? What do you need to let go of in order to manifest your intentions list?

~ On the night before the New Moon or on the night, go outside and look at the sky. Doesn’t matter if the sky is cloudy, Mother Moon is there. Close your eyes and say this prayer “Mother Moon, energy from outside to within. Please help me to push against these emotions to see from inside to the outside” In a clean empty flower pot or pottery bowl, burn the “let go” list first and ask Mother Moon to release and heal. Once it has turned into ash, burn the Intentions list and hold positive thoughts – as in really feel the things you have asked for, happening.

This is a good time to get some Healing booked in to clear your energy and get some release from issues. Walks in nature and walking barefoot on grass will help centre and ground you. Meditation is also advisable.
