This Full Wolf Moon is going to help us clean things up in our lives. The tussle between the mind and the heart has been happening for too long.  As humans we tend to keep doing the things to keep the status quo and often try not to ruffle any feathers.

The time has come however to take a deep look at areas of our lives that need to be reviewed. This means being true to yourself. Are you doing what you should be doing?

The sign of Cancer influencing the Full Moon means there is a very sentimental edge to this energy.  This will help you see your relationship with others and make the necessary changes to clear the way for a healthier relationship with yourself. We can outgrow relationships but still hang on whether its friends or family. Facing the truth and realising how you feel will help to release or shift the power struggle.

Eclipses can shake things up! So we will see some interesting news that will shake things up a little. Don’t fear this as it will bring some positive change.

The energy feels very direct and encouraging. We are being asked to get more organised and sort things out to prepare for a busy few months. This means getting paper work sent off, details looked and to stop procrastinating.

These are things that hold you back and stop the Universe from being able to manifest.

We are being asked to reconnect with people, find those who “get you” and step into our power.  There is so much divide and pain in the world right now so it is important to come together as one. This feels appropriate as the full moon is also called the Wolf Moon. As we know wolves hunt in packs. So look at areas in your lives where you need to work together or connect with others.

Mother Moon helps us find this in our hearts and lead the way.

For those who did my New Year ritual below just follow No 3 from the ritual for the Full Moon;

On Jan 1st evening – sit quietly or do this with the family even with the kids. Put some paper and pen around the table. Put some nice relaxing music. Here is my suggested list. Close your eyes and breath in and out a few times until you feel the body relax. Allow yourself to let go. Let your mind drift along with the music.  Open your eyes when you are ready. Pick up the paper and start writing the things you NEED in 2020. E.g. – A new house, a relationship, a new job, a better boss, husband or girlfriend to be more understanding, more money, a new car etc. Put this into an envelope and put it somewhere visible. Write “Intentions 2020”  Put this in your Full Moon fire on Jan 10.

Full Moon Ritual:

You will need:

  • Sage
  • Safe pot or vessel 
  • Lighter
  • Water 
  • Glass bowl 
  • Intentions list (pen and paper) 

Instructions:

  1. Sage the house -Keep your thoughts positive, switch off the phone and focus on the ritual. Use good quality sage to smudge the house.  Put it in an unused heat proof bowl and place it on a tray with a lighter and a feather. Stand near your front door, close your eyes ask Archangel Michael to ground and protect you. Ask him to surround you with his healing light. Start smudging the front door using the feather to push the smoke to the area, and then walk around the house, letting the sage smoke touch every window, door, electrical product, pillows, bed  and things such as phones, laptops and tablets. End your ritual by going back to the door, facing north and send out a prayer asking for a positive and happy for you and your family. 
  2. Cleanse your crystals – if you have any crystals in the house then full moons are the perfect time to cleanse them. This is particularly important with crystals that you use close to your body. Take note that some crystals are water sensitive. Do not put amber, turquoise, red coral, fire opal, moonstone, calcite, kyanite, kunzite, angelite, azurite, selenite into water.  Put the crystals in some cooled boiled water into a glass bowl and cover with cling film. Leave overnight to bask in the full moon energy.  You can leave the bowl with water without the crystals overnight and then dip the crystals and then place on a kitchen towel to dry off.  I have done this for a while with my water sensitive crystals without any issues. Use the water in your shower/bath or into your plants. 
  3. Intentions list – This is an important aspect of manifesting and harnessing  Full Moon energy.  Do this before you start the ritual. Put some paper and pen near you and put some nice relaxing music. Here is my suggested list. Pick up the paper and start writing the things you NEED right now. e.g. – A new house, a relationship, a new job, a better boss, husband or girlfriend to be more understanding, more money, a new car etc. Once you have smudged the house with sage, go outside with your list(s) and a fire safe pot or area in the garden. If you don’t have a garden you can use a safe pot and do this in your balcony. Put the rest of your sage that you used earlier into the pot. Hold your intentions list and close your eyes (outside). Ask Mother Moon to help bring you what you need. Burn each page slowly. I like to have a lit candle near me so the paper catches fire quickly and burns faster. Let it drop into the pot and let it burn. For those who did my New Year ritual and wrote down your intentions, you can go ahead and burn your list. No need for a new list unless you want to.

Five Powerful Ways to Start 2020

Before you dismiss 2019 as a bad year – STOP and reflect on what happened over the past 12 months. Analyse every difficult situation to understand the learning lesson, how it pushed you to make changes. You see, if we dismiss each year like most do at the start of a new year, we miss out on vital knowledge that we need to react, do things and approach things differently.

The more we can analyse the challenges in the past, then the trends, patterns and learning points will be clear. You also start to see how you have grown over the year.

For example if you were forced to end a relationship with a friend or family member then once your have gone past the pain and negativity, you will find something in that situation that you can take forward.

Did you stand up for yourself? Did you realise that you shouldn’t have meddled in a situation? Did you feel better afterwards?

For example if the relationship ended because of your temper then you need to work on that in the new year.  Facing the facts will ensure you have the right tools in 2020.

Or perhaps you felt like a victim? The question is why? Was it the other person? What could you have done to change things?  Then it’s time to let go.

We have to be conscious of our actions and situations to be able to learn from them and do things differently.

There this is phrase that is used to death at this time of the year – New Year, New You. Well a change of dates doesn’t automatically bring about a new you!

Most of us drag our existing self along with the baggage and issues, into the new year but losing the baggage or changing its contents,  reassessing the route and tweaking the journey along the way will help you lead a lighter and happier 2020.

A lot of us set ourselves for failure at the start of the year as we feel the new dates will magically conjure up a totally new life and experience but then get upset as it feels the same the year before.

A more realistic and reflective attitude sets your expectations low and when things do turn for the better then you can rejoice at the achievements.

There are plenty of things to do to prepare energetically for the New Year.

Here are my top 5 tips:

  1. De-clutter and clean the house. Get rid of rubbish, wipe down the window sills, mop the floors, change the bedding, and vacuum the house. Do this ON or BEFORE December 31st . Do not do this on Jan 1st!  Do not clean or wash clothes on Jan 1st. It is believed that you will wash away your good luck if you do! Energy wise, it is good to clean and de-clutter as it changes the energy in the house and makes space for new things as well as luck.

  5. On Jan 1st – as a final cleansing, mix in a tiny bit of turmeric powder in a cup of water. Use an unused cup or tumbler. Don’t use too much turmeric as it stains so you want very little. Close your eyes and breathe in and out before you start. Think of Archangel Michael or any God of your faith. I always think of Michael as well as Goddess Lakshmi the God of Prosperity. Say in your mind “(insert name) please bless this house and all of us with good health, prosperity and happiness in 2020”. Start at the front of the house and work your way through the house from top to bottom. Take a leaf and dip into the water and sprinkle the corners of each room. Go back to the front of the house and pour out any leftover water on the front garden.

I really hope you follow my suggested rituals above as it will truly change the energy for 2020 and bring you a lot of new changes that will enhance your life. Most importantly do it with a positive mind and focus on what you need in your life. The Universe has your back! Just give it a chance.

January Full Moons 2018: Transformation, Manifesting and Finding your Tribe

We start the New Year with a brand new Full Moon, in fact it will be the first of two Full Moons this month, the first being on Jan 2nd and the other on Jan 31st. In between this, we will have the New Moon on Jan 17 where everything gets reset. These are Super moons and include a lunar eclipse.

The combination of all this major planetary activity will bring some very strong energy which will be like a tsunami, unblocking major deals, negotiations and movement in decisions.

We will find some important announcement to do with Europe and Asia in and around February to March time. In fact I feel one of this will be a deal breaker of sorts. It will be interesting to see how it will affect world politics in general and how the community will react.

The Wolf Moon in Cancer, which will appear in the UK at 2.14am (GMT/BST) on January 2nd brings us closer to our community. Just like the wolves, we have to work in a pack, communicate and understand our purpose. So do not feel like you have to isolate yourself to be able to succeed. In fact this is the time to share, explore and network. January is the time to set realistic goals but rather than aim for the ones that are physical or play on our bad habits or make us feel bad, put together ideas that can help you achieve.

For example, looking at your business, identify the areas that need improvement and say that you struggle with keeping your accounts. Perhaps your goal for the year is to do your own accounts and you can achieve this through a course or a workshop. This goal is empowering and even if you don’t manage to grasp it well enough to do your own accounts, you would have learned something along the way.

It is important to note that by March, we will all be wondering where the time has gone, as things are moving fast. If you have been distressed by how things are moving, people holding contracts or decisions back, then stop fretting and be prepared as the wheels are already in motion.

You will need your “tribe” around you so join up with any interest groups, likeminded people or networking sites as the more you interact as we will need to be part of something to get a few things off the ground. For many of us struggling emotionally or wanting to develop spiritually, learning to speak our truth will be important. If you constantly feel choked up or unable to voice out what you really feel, with throat clearing and issues around that area that is not medically related, this is a sign that your throat chakra is struggling to cope.

January’s full moons want you to “listen” before you act. If you are called on by a friend who is in need, just be there for them and listen. Don’t judge or try to fix things, just lend them your ear. You will avoid conflict and misunderstandings this way. Some of us may be holding on to intense energy so your words may be misconstrued as being judgemental or overbearing. Nothing to worry about, just take a step back and be a friend.

Going back to Jan 1st, this is an important day for many reasons. However please take note that 2018 is a master number year as it totals up to “11” so Jan 1st literally 1.1.11 which is a super master number. I know many of us will be waking up with a huge hangover or just plain tired from staying up late and dealing with the dishes and kids, however it is important to start the year on the right foot.

A master number day is a powerful day as it a super manifesting day. Keep your thoughts positive and focus on the things that you want to manifest. Be realistic about what you want too. Asking the universe to deliver 10million is a big ask as it may not be in your soul’s blueprint and they also can foresee the difficulties you may encounter with such a big fortune all at once. How many lottery winners have we seen happy? Many of those who win do seem to have fractured lives, get taken advantage of, fall out with each other or lose everything eventually. Some people are meant to have that much and know how to deal with it and others who think money is the answer to everything, will soon find out that it isn’t.

The trick to manifesting is to put down things that can definitely improve your life, things that you can achieve, and don’t forget feelings/emotions. For example “I want to feel happy about my job”. How this will manifest will be different for each individual. For one, it is the line manager who is causing unhappiness and perhaps he or she will be forced to leave or gets promoted and a kinder more “people person” takes over. This change of guards will allow for a happier and cohesive department. Or you may see a fantastic role and go for it, leading you to a great team and work life balance.

I feel that many of you will feel the “reset” button that the new moon will bring on the 17th of January. By this time you will have seen a few things fall into place but also recognise some of the emotional baggage you have been carrying around, and willing to finally let go. This is important as the more you let go, the better it will be to accelerate your soul’s purpose come Jan 31st when the Blue Moon comes along to sweep everything forward.

Keep an eye on who comes into your lives between January and end of February. New people, old friends or even relatives. Ask yourself the reasons why they appearing in your life now, what are their motives, how can they help you now and what you can learn from them. If it is someone from the past who you had an issue with or vice versa, is forgiveness or clearing the communication lines, the lesson?

January’s Full Moons are about love, manifesting but also the healer of old wounds. So be open to forgive and patch things up with people. The more you let it fester, the harder it will get for you to let go of the pain. Don’t let your ego and pride hold you back.

Hopefully the skies will be clear as the first full moon of 2018 is expected to be the biggest and most vibrant. This will spark off healing, transformation and show you where you need “growth” in your life.

As far as the rest of the year goes, I do feel that the royal wedding in the UK will bring some positive energy to break up the dark clouds of Brexit. I sense Diana’s influence at play as although she loved her boys equally, she always had a soft spot for Harry. She somehow knew even at the early days, that he was a lot more impulsive, emotional and nonconventional than his brother. She also knew that he hurt easily. I sensed her presence around Harry and Megan during the engagement announcement in the gardens. She feels that Megan will go where she tried to, in a calmer and less emotional manner. In saying this I do feel a touch of sadness to their day or the days after. I feel there will be some sort of an event which will take place to overshadow their day.

Now I also feel that the world leaders have to pay attention to ISIS and their agenda. What do they want really? What are their demands? I feel this needs to be]]]]]]]changing sharply and they will achieve the funding they require from a super power.

There will be a major earthquake that will be on the plates along some American states but also affect those along the same lines. I feels like the time when the season changes either winter to spring or summer to autumn.

Although we will be reacting to this negatively as this is the trend of the world now, until the next shift happens, we as people will be more resilient and be able to pick ourselves up and go on.

Ten Steps to Start 2018 Positively

The energy, like the stress levels rises up and down at this time of the year. We go through the stress, the happy phase and then a dip into the depression of everything being over so quickly. Before we can take a deep breath, 2018 is around the corner and then another stress pike hits us. Then the general deflation of going back to work and dealing with the endless advertising for gym memberships and diet deals slam dunk us into another vicious cycle of the blues. Image result for 2018

We do this every year and yet we start off the year with this brilliant hang over energy hoping to forget the year that has been and put all our eggs into the new year which is like telling a new starter in a company that they are to be this or that. Imagine the pressure of living up to people’s expectations!

The thing is, the New Year is LIFE. There are some things is in your control and others, that are not. You cannot control who will die, who will have a terminal illness, how your company is run and how that will affect your employment nor can you stop yourself from feeling unhappy.

You can however try to be kind to yourself so that will start a circle of good things around you, deal with situations better, go see the doctor if you feel ill and prevent a bigger illness, take care of yourself, attract the right people, and do more of happy. You can stop going into one relationship to the other, you can set aside time to study or improve your skills, spend time with people you love, plan things and be in control of what you can achieve in your life.

Start of 2018 in a more positive way. Here is a list of things you can put into practice before or on the first week of the New Year. You will need a new note book or a sheet of paper for some of the ideas below.

1. Learn from the Bad stuff

The problem with wishing away the year is that we miss out on the lessons or the positives that could push us forward in 2018. There are so many good things that have happened, bad stuff also have good things in them and lessons to be learned. Remember in the darkness there is always light, we just have to find it. What did you learn from that experience? Did you find that you were a lot stronger than you thought? Were you able to stand up for yourself in a positive away? Draw two columns in a note book or sheet. Mark one, “Situation” and the other “Lessons”. You can also add another two column to indicate date/time and another for “Positive/Negative”. Now write down as clearly and succinctly as possible what happened and the in lessons, think of how you overcame, reacted or learned from the situation. There is no right or wrong answers, this is about YOU and how it affected you. If you decided on the positive/negative then indicate what the outcome for you was. You can list as many or as little as you want. Once you have finished, take a look, read through and see how your words make you feel and look at how many positives or negatives occurred. This is a great exercise as if you encounter similar or recurring situations in 2018. You can go back and see the pattern forming and you will have another revelation or learning to uncover. 2. Letting Go – This is simply to put on paper, the things you feel you need to “let go” off – emotions, attitudes or habits that you feel stops you from going forward

3. Spring clean – start the New Year with a clean slate. Decluttering the house can be the start of the clearing of the mind. Get rid of the things you don’t need. Do this in a mindful way so that you are not thinking of anything other than what you are doing in the moment. Give away or throw but get the house in order. This helps to get your own mind in order and focused.

4. Gratitude Jar – this is a good time to open your jar and start reading the good stuff that happened over the year. If you don’t have one, then start a new one for 2018. Get an old large jar and decorate it as you will. Write down your day or week’s highlight into the jar as often as you can. Open up and read around this time next year.

5. Friends & Family – write down a list of people you would like to spend more time with in 2018. This is even people you are no longer speaking to or haven’t been in touch with. Put down an activity or even a place you would like to be with them, next to their name. Make it a realistic list and an activity. Go back later this year to reflect on how you can make it happen or be surprised at who calls or messages you in the year. Write down another list of people who make you feel bad or guilty. Let this list serve you when you encounter the same patterns the coming year. You have choices and options. Never feel that you MUST or NEED to spend time with anyone who makes you feel bad.

6. Write down five things you want to see happen in 2018. This is about YOU so leave out your children, partner or friends. Just about what you want and need.

7. What do you want to transform this year? Is there a part of you that needs transformation? If there is ONE thing that the Universe could do for you, what would that be? Emotion, relationship, career, health, mental clarity, money….etc

It makes my body relax but also create a very beautiful space around me. Create a space and time for yourself so you won’t be disturbed. Leave your notebook or a sheet of paper next to you with a pen.You can do this for 10mins or an hour, totally up to you. Make yourself comfortable and put on the music. Close your eyes and breathe in and out a few times until you feel your body relaxing. Focus only on the chant and let your mind drift to the words. Now set an intention to relax and to feel positive. Write down any thoughts, ideas or words that come to you when you open your eyes. Read through later and think of what it means to you.

9. New Year Smudging & Energy Clearance

Clear the energy by smudging the house with sage. I prefer white Californian sage but you can use frankincense or just a bunch of your favourite incense.  Put on this Mahalakshmi Gaytri Mantra as you do this this chant is calling on Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth to come grace you with good fortune. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEcn2Bvakr4 Start the north most area of the house or flat and work around clockwise with the sage, focusing only on your 3rd eye and putting out an intention to clear the energy and for good stuff in 2018. Try not to be distracted and try to keep positive. When you get back where you started, put your palms together and welcome Lakshmi to your house. There is no doubt that 2016 was a difficult year, but throughout it, there were lessons to be learned, people to be loved, laughter, friendship, growth and love.

We have become more resillient, wiser, aware and open to new challenges. 2016 saw the UK shaken up by the Brexit vote – to LEAVE. A huge lesson for the country and those who like to stay in their comfort zones. We can take personal lessons from this situationImage result for 2017. People tend to want everything to stay the same. There are many who will rather stay in a dead end job or a unhealthy relationship because it is familiar and maybe even easy. But then change is forced on them – losing their job or their partner decides to leave them, giving them no other choice except to change.  Life will not stay the same just because you want it to. Be prepared to move, evolve and change or life will do it for you, painfully. 

2016 has prepared us to expect the unexpected. This was evident in the US elections. Everyone expected Hillary to win as it was expected that experience would win over controversy. The laws of the universe is changing so has our rules. 2017 is a year of ACTION. We had spent enough time contemplating what we want and how we are going to get it so now the time is ripe for getting things done.

Don’t over think things this year. Try something and if you fail, take it as a trial run. People will judge you no matter what you do. There will always be someone saying something about nothing. So listen to yourself and be proud of your achievements.

Working with a clear mind will set your spirit free to explore.  Use this  surge of energy to move forward in all aspects of your life. 2017 is a “ONE” year which in numerology means the start of a new phase in our lives. A lot more pregnancies ,birth and engagements will be announced. This is the start of a new cycle for humanity after the completion though the passing of so many souls last year. We will see a lot more people embarking on new journeys some which will surprised everyone around them and others will decide to take time off to go explore. 2016 provided us with an opportunity to truly understand our life purpose and find our “happy”.  2017 will help tap into our heart and intuition to bring forth solutions for our problems. 

The first three months of 2017 will be crucial for intention setting to set the tone for the year. There is also a strong call to put yourself first and look after yourself, from a mental, physical and spiritual way.

2016 help to uncover old belief patterns, self sabotage traits and even childhood conditioning that were holding you back. If you haven’t already dealt with some of this, then 2017 is not going to be easy as you will only be carrying it forward into the new year. It will feel like you are going around in circles and not getting anywhere. You can’t move forward if you mind is stuck in the past.   • Be flexible – don’t put restrictions on yourself. Allow yourself to explore and try things out without the fear of failing.
  • Don’t let judgement stop you. There will always be someone judging you, regardless of what you do so why stop yourself from trying?
  • Release control – things get easier when you resist the need to control everything and others.
  • Growth – there is an opportunity to grow, so try new things, whether it is dating, a new course or hobby. Do something different this year.
  • Say yes – to the right things. Say yes to yourself!
  • Believe – some of you will be embarking on new adventures – relationships, living arrangements and even career – be positive as it will be both exciting and scary!
  • Independence – 2017 will see some of us wanting to spend more time on our own, asserting our independence and even wanting to break free from the norm. A very individual and assertive time, embrace it!
