We start the New Year with a brand new Full Moon, in fact it will be the first of two Full Moons this month, the first being on Jan 2nd and the other on Jan 31st. In between this, we will have the New Moon on Jan 17 where everything gets reset. These are Super moons and include a lunar eclipse.
The combination of all this major planetary activity will bring some very strong energy which will be like a tsunami, unblocking major deals, negotiations and movement in decisions.
We will find some important announcement to do with Europe and Asia in and around February to March time. In fact I feel one of this will be a deal breaker of sorts. It will be interesting to see how it will affect world politics in general and how the community will react.
The Wolf Moon in Cancer, which will appear in the UK at 2.14am (GMT/BST) on January 2nd brings us closer to our community. Just like the wolves, we have to work in a pack, communicate and understand our purpose. So do not feel like you have to isolate yourself to be able to succeed. In fact this is the time to share, explore and network. January is the time to set realistic goals but rather than aim for the ones that are physical or play on our bad habits or make us feel bad, put together ideas that can help you achieve.
For example, looking at your business, identify the areas that need improvement and say that you struggle with keeping your accounts. Perhaps your goal for the year is to do your own accounts and you can achieve this through a course or a workshop. This goal is empowering and even if you don’t manage to grasp it well enough to do your own accounts, you would have learned something along the way.
It is important to note that by March, we will all be wondering where the time has gone, as things are moving fast. If you have been distressed by how things are moving, people holding contracts or decisions back, then stop fretting and be prepared as the wheels are already in motion.
You will need your “tribe” around you so join up with any interest groups, likeminded people or networking sites as the more you interact as we will need to be part of something to get a few things off the ground. For many of us struggling emotionally or wanting to develop spiritually, learning to speak our truth will be important. If you constantly feel choked up or unable to voice out what you really feel, with throat clearing and issues around that area that is not medically related, this is a sign that your throat chakra is struggling to cope.
January’s full moons want you to “listen” before you act. If you are called on by a friend who is in need, just be there for them and listen. Don’t judge or try to fix things, just lend them your ear. You will avoid conflict and misunderstandings this way. Some of us may be holding on to intense energy so your words may be misconstrued as being judgemental or overbearing. Nothing to worry about, just take a step back and be a friend.
Going back to Jan 1st, this is an important day for many reasons. However please take note that 2018 is a master number year as it totals up to “11” so Jan 1st literally 1.1.11 which is a super master number. I know many of us will be waking up with a huge hangover or just plain tired from staying up late and dealing with the dishes and kids, however it is important to start the year on the right foot.
A master number day is a powerful day as it a super manifesting day. Keep your thoughts positive and focus on the things that you want to manifest. Be realistic about what you want too. Asking the universe to deliver 10million is a big ask as it may not be in your soul’s blueprint and they also can foresee the difficulties you may encounter with such a big fortune all at once. How many lottery winners have we seen happy? Many of those who win do seem to have fractured lives, get taken advantage of, fall out with each other or lose everything eventually. Some people are meant to have that much and know how to deal with it and others who think money is the answer to everything, will soon find out that it isn’t.
The trick to manifesting is to put down things that can definitely improve your life, things that you can achieve, and don’t forget feelings/emotions. For example “I want to feel happy about my job”. How this will manifest will be different for each individual. For one, it is the line manager who is causing unhappiness and perhaps he or she will be forced to leave or gets promoted and a kinder more “people person” takes over. This change of guards will allow for a happier and cohesive department. Or you may see a fantastic role and go for it, leading you to a great team and work life balance.
I feel that many of you will feel the “reset” button that the new moon will bring on the 17th of January. By this time you will have seen a few things fall into place but also recognise some of the emotional baggage you have been carrying around, and willing to finally let go. This is important as the more you let go, the better it will be to accelerate your soul’s purpose come Jan 31st when the Blue Moon comes along to sweep everything forward.
Keep an eye on who comes into your lives between January and end of February. New people, old friends or even relatives. Ask yourself the reasons why they appearing in your life now, what are their motives, how can they help you now and what you can learn from them. If it is someone from the past who you had an issue with or vice versa, is forgiveness or clearing the communication lines, the lesson?
January’s Full Moons are about love, manifesting but also the healer of old wounds. So be open to forgive and patch things up with people. The more you let it fester, the harder it will get for you to let go of the pain. Don’t let your ego and pride hold you back.
Hopefully the skies will be clear as the first full moon of 2018 is expected to be the biggest and most vibrant. This will spark off healing, transformation and show you where you need “growth” in your life.
As far as the rest of the year goes, I do feel that the royal wedding in the UK will bring some positive energy to break up the dark clouds of Brexit. I sense Diana’s influence at play as although she loved her boys equally, she always had a soft spot for Harry. She somehow knew even at the early days, that he was a lot more impulsive, emotional and nonconventional than his brother. She also knew that he hurt easily. I sensed her presence around Harry and Megan during the engagement announcement in the gardens. She feels that Megan will go where she tried to, in a calmer and less emotional manner. In saying this I do feel a touch of sadness to their day or the days after. I feel there will be some sort of an event which will take place to overshadow their day.
Now I also feel that the world leaders have to pay attention to ISIS and their agenda. What do they want really? What are their demands? I feel this needs to be]]]]]]]changing sharply and they will achieve the funding they require from a super power.
There will be a major earthquake that will be on the plates along some American states but also affect those along the same lines. I feels like the time when the season changes either winter to spring or summer to autumn.
Although we will be reacting to this negatively as this is the trend of the world now, until the next shift happens, we as people will be more resilient and be able to pick ourselves up and go on.

In summary the theme for 2018 is transformation, manifesting and finding your tribe. This is a year to come together as people and as a community. Keep your thoughts positive, Law of Attraction techniques will serve you well.
The energy, like the stress levels rises up and down at this time of the year. We go through the stress, the happy phase and then a dip into the depression of everything being over so quickly. Before we can take a deep breath, 2018 is around the corner and then another stress pike hits us. Then the general deflation of going back to work and dealing with the endless advertising for gym memberships and diet deals slam dunk us into another vicious cycle of the blues.
We do this every year and yet we start off the year with this brilliant hang over energy hoping to forget the year that has been and put all our eggs into the new year which is like telling a new starter in a company that they are to be this or that. Imagine the pressure of living up to people’s expectations!
The thing is, the New Year is LIFE. There are some things is in your control and others, that are not. You cannot control who will die, who will have a terminal illness, how your company is run and how that will affect your employment nor can you stop yourself from feeling unhappy.
You can however try to be kind to yourself so that will start a circle of good things around you, deal with situations better, go see the doctor if you feel ill and prevent a bigger illness, take care of yourself, attract the right people, and do more of happy. You can stop going into one relationship to the other, you can set aside time to study or improve your skills, spend time with people you love, plan things and be in control of what you can achieve in your life.
Start of 2018 in a more positive way. Here is a list of things you can put into practice before or on the first week of the New Year. You will need a new note book or a sheet of paper for some of the ideas below.
1. Learn from the Bad stuff
The problem with wishing away the year is that we miss out on the lessons or the positives that could push us forward in 2018. There are so many good things that have happened, bad stuff also have good things in them and lessons to be learned. Remember in the darkness there is always light, we just have to find it. What did you learn from that experience? Did you find that you were a lot stronger than you thought? Were you able to stand up for yourself in a positive away? Draw two columns in a note book or sheet. Mark one, “Situation” and the other “Lessons”. You can also add another two column to indicate date/time and another for “Positive/Negative”. Now write down as clearly and succinctly as possible what happened and the in lessons, think of how you overcame, reacted or learned from the situation. There is no right or wrong answers, this is about YOU and how it affected you. If you decided on the positive/negative then indicate what the outcome for you was. You can list as many or as little as you want. Once you have finished, take a look, read through and see how your words make you feel and look at how many positives or negatives occurred. This is a great exercise as if you encounter similar or recurring situations in 2018. You can go back and see the pattern forming and you will have another revelation or learning to uncover. 2. Letting Go – This is simply to put on paper, the things you feel you need to “let go” off – emotions, attitudes or habits that you feel stops you from going forward
3. Spring clean – start the New Year with a clean slate. Decluttering the house can be the start of the clearing of the mind. Get rid of the things you don’t need. Do this in a mindful way so that you are not thinking of anything other than what you are doing in the moment. Give away or throw but get the house in order. This helps to get your own mind in order and focused.
4. Gratitude Jar – this is a good time to open your jar and start reading the good stuff that happened over the year. If you don’t have one, then start a new one for 2018. Get an old large jar and decorate it as you will. Write down your day or week’s highlight into the jar as often as you can. Open up and read around this time next year.
5. Friends & Family – write down a list of people you would like to spend more time with in 2018. This is even people you are no longer speaking to or haven’t been in touch with. Put down an activity or even a place you would like to be with them, next to their name. Make it a realistic list and an activity. Go back later this year to reflect on how you can make it happen or be surprised at who calls or messages you in the year. Write down another list of people who make you feel bad or guilty. Let this list serve you when you encounter the same patterns the coming year. You have choices and options. Never feel that you MUST or NEED to spend time with anyone who makes you feel bad.
6. Write down five things you want to see happen in 2018. This is about YOU so leave out your children, partner or friends. Just about what you want and need.
7. What do you want to transform this year? Is there a part of you that needs transformation? If there is ONE thing that the Universe could do for you, what would that be? Emotion, relationship, career, health, mental clarity, money….etc

It makes my body relax but also create a very beautiful space around me. Create a space and time for yourself so you won’t be disturbed. Leave your notebook or a sheet of paper next to you with a pen.You can do this for 10mins or an hour, totally up to you. Make yourself comfortable and put on the music. Close your eyes and breathe in and out a few times until you feel your body relaxing. Focus only on the chant and let your mind drift to the words. Now set an intention to relax and to feel positive. Write down any thoughts, ideas or words that come to you when you open your eyes. Read through later and think of what it means to you.
9. New Year Smudging & Energy Clearance
Clear the energy by smudging the house with sage. I prefer white Californian sage but you can use frankincense or just a bunch of your favourite incense. Try not to be distracted and try to keep positive. When you get back where you started, put your palms together and welcome Lakshmi to your house. This year has seen a lot of people going back to the past to find answers and to readjust their path in order to re-imagine their future. In doing so, some have felt a overwhelming feeling of failure, unease and even dealt with their pride being hurt. The ego is bruised when we change our paths to something we truly believed in not working out. It is hard to accept, the mind taking charge and making realistic plans. Failure is felt when things don’t go to plan or once you have realised that like the man who tried to get water out of the well, that it was going to take a lot more work as the pail had holes in it. Hot, and sweaty with sore arms, he slogged away to fill the jugs of the cool, clean well water. The pail with the hole was reducing the amount of water per draw. He could either keep doing what he was doing with little result or get a new pail or find something else to use. Alternatively, he could find another water source. These are choices not failures. You can overcome a situation using your internal wisdom and not allow emotions to cloud your judgement. In the same way, some of us are dealing with “letting go” of the security of what you are doing, of the feeling of failure, of change or the fear of something new.
Our physical body signs can be very revealing. These last week along with the very atmospheric skies over the UK shadows our inner struggles. The darkness within mirrors our experiences outside. People have been in touch this week saying they have been feeling very defeated, angry at times, procrastinating, depressed, fuzzy head and another even said some said they felt wobbly. Imagine there is a tug of war happening inside your body. How would it feel? One end pulling on the robe and the other holding on to the rope for dear life. Obviously there would be tension, agony and the sheer will power of both sides to hold on to the rope wouldn’t you? Your body is merely reacting to what is going on in your mind and spiritual layer.
We are being asked to take a step back from our situation and to review it with clear eyes and less attachment. The more you do this, the easier it will become. If we view it as “failure” then it attracts other mental negativity that only leads to a darker place mentally. We become too emotional and our actions will be driven from the wrong place. Using logic and a practical approach allows us to see things for what they are and making the adjustments to rectify the situation.
Energetically, this is happening for a big reason as this entire week, has been about “Good” vs “Evil”. Today ends the victory of good and Hindus around the world will celebrate Diwali which is the festival of lights. According to Hindu mythology, a super powerful demon called Narakasura who unleashed unimaginable pain and suffering to the world, was killed by Goddess Kali. who is a powerful, albeit scarier avatar of the Gods merged together. She is the warrior Goddess who was created to go to war, to save the world, to bring salvation to mankind. This is why her image often depicts her holding the bloody head of Narakasura. Simply put, the demon had declared to all the male Gods who tried to fight him and failed, that “No man can kill me”. He was arrogant enough to dismiss feminine power and therefore was defeated by Kali who incorporated both male and female energies. Hindus fast and pray for light into their lives, deal with the darkness within before today, when the dawn breaks to bring positivity and success. The Goddess of success and luck, Lakshmi is celebrated on the last few days to pray for happiness, fortune and success in all aspects of their lives.
In some ways, festival of lights is the war of inner darkness, to ward off bad luck and and dedicating time and space to positive thinking. This translate to our modern times as using knowledge and intuition to overcome our own darkness. When there is darkness there is light. So when there is doubt, trust your intuition and don’t be afraid to step into the bright light where there is clarity.
The New Moon which arrives tomorrow (October 19) offers us a new cycle of “letting go” and transformation which will be felt strongly by the Full Moon which falls on November 4th. You can help the universe by writing down your situation or what is holding you back on a piece of paper and go outside tomorrow evening to burn the paper. Hold the thought in your mind that you want to let go and welcome help from the universe. The veils between our two worlds are thinning so there is no doubt that our Spirit people, Angels and the universal force will be there to lend us a hand. Keep your thoughts positive, believe there is good change happening and everything will work out for the best. Be open to the fact that it may not be exactly how you want it, as the more we relinquish control, then the easier it is for the powers that may be, to deliver.
So why is this happening and why now? There is a bigger picture for us to open our awareness to. There is a next level of consciousness and experience but we cannot get there if we are holding on to fear and same old believes. The world is changing and there is a huge shift of thinking coming our way. We have often questioned how human evolution was going to take place, are we going to turn into zebras or three eyed aliens? What next after the ape? Well according to my awareness, the evolution will come in changes to mindset, to the way we think and feel. New thought processes and being able to accept the inevitable such as the possibility of Spirit being in the same space as us will be more accepted and mainstream.
So it starts with us now. Being able to shift our consciousness will be important. We are being shaken to the core to make ourselves a lot more flexible and accepting for what is around the corner. There are exciting times ahead for all of us and there is a universal feeling of “something big” is about to happen.
It is also a good time to make space for yourself and meditate. I love this very uplifting and super powerful mantra which is mantra of mantras. Tomorrow’s Full Moon falls on a number “7” day which has a high spiritual vibrancy. These is one of those stand alone number days aligned with the lunar calendar which can be interesting energy wise. What will be compelling is the need to break free from the norm and to be more “individual” in your approach. A word of warning through, as this could lead to fractious relationships and situations.
Plan and do your leg work before acting as there is a tendency to be reckless at times when these sort of days appear in our lives. Nothing to worry about, just double check everything and think things through before acting.
The Full Moon falls on 5.10.2017 which if we added the numbers up, 5+1+0+2+0+1+7= 16, totals to the number 7. Seven brings solid foundations, spiritual pursuits and a hunger to learn more about your personal direction and universal energy. Most of us will find that we want to “shine” and be heard not just seen. This is the time to step out of the shadows and be true to yourself.
The lunar energy of 2017 has so far been pushing and prodding us to get to this point where we can let go of fear and to stop being comfortable in the shadow aspect of our personality. The time has come, with the help of the universe, Spirit and the powers that may be to step forward and be counted.
*If you have been feeling a little spaced out or like you are about to get a cold but never does happen, then listen up. This means that you may have a number of things on your mind, and struggling to focus on one productive thought or project which could push you forward. Decision making is not your strongest point and you are likely to be led rather to lead. Tomorrow’s energy will nudge you out of your comfort zone and force you to make a decision. So take charge, put everything on paper and go through the list and let your intuition guide you.
*The other physical symptom some of us have been experiencing and which is rather common during the lunar cycle is headaches. Our natural instinct, consciously or unconsciously in the face of change, is to resist. The lunar energy will be draining as it will be using up energy from within our physical body. This reduces our water content and causes us to be dehydrated, which we know leads to headaches and imbalance. It is always a good idea to increase our intake of filtered warm or room temperature water close to the New or Full moon. Lunar cycles enhance our ability to detox and rid ourselves of limiting believes and the shadow, which inevitably will cause our body to detox as well. Water will accelerate the process and flush everything out. The more spiritual rationale for headaches close to a lunar cycle is resistance and mental conflict. It is likely that you are over thinking something and putting a considerable amount of stress on yourself for no reason other than to want “perfection”. You are likely someone who feels they “have to” rather than “want to” therefore piling on the stress to be everything to everyone. The more you left go of this need to be perfect, the headaches will ease this week and you will find clarity and determination.
Over arching Spiritual Message for Oct 5th Full Moon
The message for this full moon cuts deep into our core, the essence of who we are and where we want to go. If you act on your feelings, learn from it and use this guide then transformation is possible. There is a call now to stand up in your own two feet, to be an individual rather than to hide behind others. The time is ripe for you to take charge of your life and your career. You CAN do it on your own.
The energy is particularly powerful and can, often be life changing if tapped into properly. Stop hesitating and use your practical and sensible self to clearly etch out a plan. Big yourself up at work and stand out!
This is also the time to put yourself FIRST. Bump yourself up on the list of priorities and make yourself the VIP of your own life. Stop running around for others. Look after yourself, be kind to yourself and be there for YOU. So go book a spa day, treat yourself to a nice lunch, create space in the house for your hobby, spend some time on your own, go out and have fun or even just get your hair done! Do all the things you have put off because you don’t have time, money or that others need it more.
The Hunter’s Moon appears on our skies earlier than regular full moons which means the dusky sky is illuminated brilliantly by the full moon (weather permitting!) which gave the Native Americans in ancient times, more time to hunt. This is the signal for the winter preparation. This means in our modern times, that we are given a unique opportunity to take a leap of faith and to be true to ourselves. The bright light of the moon will illuminate our shadow self to transform and learn. Tomorrow’s moon will give you the strength and conviction to step up and let the light shine on you for once.
