2020’s First Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Guidance

2020’s First Full Moon Lunar Eclipse Guidance

Cancer Full Moon Lunar Eclipse 2020

January 10, 2020 – 07:21 pm (GMT/BST)

This Full Wolf Moon is going to help us clean things up in our lives. The tussle between the mind and the heart has been happening for too long.  As humans we tend to keep doing the things to keep the status quo and often try not to ruffle any feathers.

The time has come however to take a deep look at areas of our lives that need to be reviewed. This means being true to yourself. Are you doing what you should be doing?

The sign of Cancer influencing the Full Moon means there is a very sentimental edge to this energy.  This will help you see your relationship with others and make the necessary changes to clear the way for a healthier relationship with yourself. We can outgrow relationships but still hang on whether its friends or family. Facing the truth and realising how you feel will help to release or shift the power struggle.

Eclipses can shake things up! So we will see some interesting news that will shake things up a little. Don’t fear this as it will bring some positive change.

The energy feels very direct and encouraging. We are being asked to get more organised and sort things out to prepare for a busy few months. This means getting paper work sent off, details looked and to stop procrastinating.

These are things that hold you back and stop the Universe from being able to manifest.

We are being asked to reconnect with people, find those who “get you” and step into our power.  There is so much divide and pain in the world right now so it is important to come together as one. This feels appropriate as the full moon is also called the Wolf Moon. As we know wolves hunt in packs. So look at areas in your lives where you need to work together or connect with others.

Mother Moon helps us find this in our hearts and lead the way.

For those who did my New Year ritual below just follow No 3 from the ritual for the Full Moon;

On Jan 1st evening – sit quietly or do this with the family even with the kids. Put some paper and pen around the table. Put some nice relaxing music. Here is my suggested list. Try each one and see how it resonates with you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owVazx83hcc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY4oDD8ol_M or this beautiful music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=def3-73gR-U  Light some sage or incense. Close your eyes and breath in and out a few times until you feel the body relax. Allow yourself to let go. Let your mind drift along with the music.  Open your eyes when you are ready. Pick up the paper and start writing the things you NEED in 2020. E.g. – A new house, a relationship, a new job, a better boss, husband or girlfriend to be more understanding, more money, a new car etc. Put this into an envelope and put it somewhere visible. Write “Intentions 2020”  Put this in your Full Moon fire on Jan 10.

Full Moon Ritual:

You will need:

  • Sage
  • Safe pot or vessel
  • Lighter
  • Water
  • Glass bowl
  • Intentions list (pen and paper)

Instructions:

  1. Sage the house -Keep your thoughts positive, switch off the phone and focus on the ritual. Use good quality sage to smudge the house.  Put it in an unused heat proof bowl and place it on a tray with a lighter and a feather. Stand near your front door, close your eyes ask Archangel Michael to ground and protect you. Ask him to surround you with his healing light. Start smudging the front door using the feather to push the smoke to the area, and then walk around the house, letting the sage smoke touch every window, door, electrical product, pillows, bed  and things such as phones, laptops and tablets. End your ritual by going back to the door, facing north and send out a prayer asking for a positive and happy for you and your family.
  2. Cleanse your crystals – if you have any crystals in the house then full moons are the perfect time to cleanse them. This is particularly important with crystals that you use close to your body. Take note that some crystals are water sensitive. Do not put amber, turquoise, red coral, fire opal, moonstone, calcite, kyanite, kunzite, angelite, azurite, selenite into water.  Put the crystals in some cooled boiled water into a glass bowl and cover with cling film. Leave overnight to bask in the full moon energy.  You can leave the bowl with water without the crystals overnight and then dip the crystals and then place on a kitchen towel to dry off.  I have done this for a while with my water sensitive crystals without any issues. Use the water in your shower/bath or into your plants.
  3. Intentions list – This is an important aspect of manifesting and harnessing  Full Moon energy.  Do this before you start the ritual. Put some paper and pen near you and put some nice relaxing music. Pick up the paper and start writing the things you NEED right now. e.g. – A new house, a relationship, a new job, a better boss, husband or girlfriend to be more understanding, more money, a new car etc. Once you have smudged the house with sage, go outside with your list(s) and a fire safe pot or area in the garden. If you don’t have a garden you can use a safe pot and do this in your balcony. Put the rest of your sage that you used earlier into the pot. Hold your intentions list and close your eyes (outside). Ask Mother Moon to help bring you what you need. Burn each page slowly. I like to have a lit candle near me so the paper catches fire quickly and burns faster. Let it drop into the pot and let it burn. For those who did my New Year ritual and wrote down your intentions, you can go ahead and burn your list. No need for a new list unless you want to.

Happy Full Moon and Lunar  Eclipse!

Don’t forget to share and comment! I love to hear from you!

Five Powerful Ways to Start 2020

Five Powerful Ways to Start 2020

Before you dismiss 2019 as a bad year – STOP and reflect on what happened over the past 12 months. Analyse every difficult situation to understand the learning lesson, how it pushed you to make changes. You see, if we dismiss each year like most do at the start of a new year, we miss out on vital knowledge that we need to react, do things and approach things differently.

The more we can analyse the challenges in the past, then the trends, patterns and learning points will be clear. You also start to see how you have grown over the year.

For example if you were forced to end a relationship with a friend or family member then once your have gone past the pain and negativity, you will find something in that situation that you can take forward.

Did you stand up for yourself? Did you realise that you shouldn’t have meddled in a situation? Did you feel better afterwards?

For example if the relationship ended because of your temper then you need to work on that in the new year.  Facing the facts will ensure you have the right tools in 2020.

Or perhaps you felt like a victim? The question is why? Was it the other person? What could you have done to change things?  Then it’s time to let go.

We have to be conscious of our actions and situations to be able to learn from them and do things differently.

There this is phrase that is used to death at this time of the year – New Year, New You. Well a change of dates doesn’t automatically bring about a new you!

Most of us drag our existing self along with the baggage and issues, into the new year but losing the baggage or changing its contents,  reassessing the route and tweaking the journey along the way will help you lead a lighter and happier 2020.

A lot of us set ourselves for failure at the start of the year as we feel the new dates will magically conjure up a totally new life and experience but then get upset as it feels the same the year before.

A more realistic and reflective attitude sets your expectations low and when things do turn for the better then you can rejoice at the achievements.

There are plenty of things to do to prepare energetically for the New Year.

Here are my top 5 tips:

  1. De-clutter and clean the house. Get rid of rubbish, wipe down the window sills, mop the floors, change the bedding, and vacuum the house. Do this ON or BEFORE December 31st . Do not do this on Jan 1st!  Do not clean or wash clothes on Jan 1st. It is believed that you will wash away your good luck if you do! Energy wise, it is good to clean and de-clutter as it changes the energy in the house and makes space for new things as well as luck.
  4. Balance: It is important to cleanse and balance the body as well as the home. Clear the energy with these Chakra tune up that you can either meditate to or put on your earphones and listen to as you fall asleep so it can work its magic as you sleep. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9WasL59vOs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCpBSnYBTM0
  5. On Jan 1st – as a final cleansing, mix in a tiny bit of turmeric powder in a cup of water. Use an unused cup or tumbler. Don’t use too much turmeric as it stains so you want very little. Close your eyes and breathe in and out before you start. Think of Archangel Michael or any God of your faith. I always think of Michael as well as Goddess Lakshmi the God of Prosperity. Say in your mind “(insert name) please bless this house and all of us with good health, prosperity and happiness in 2020”. Start at the front of the house and work your way through the house from top to bottom. Take a leaf and dip into the water and sprinkle the corners of each room. Go back to the front of the house and pour out any leftover water on the front garden.

I really hope you follow my suggested rituals above as it will truly change the energy for 2020 and bring you a lot of new changes that will enhance your life. Most importantly do it with a positive mind and focus on what you need in your life. The Universe has your back! Just give it a chance.

Please do leave a comment and let me know how it goes.

Much love,

Angela

“Feeling” June’s New Moon

New Moon in Gemini

June 3rd 2019, 10.01am
UTC ( 11.01am UK)

The new moon tomorrow is stirring up big emotions which may have seen many of us tearing up, feeling very upset, and may have led to some arguments.

You cannot keep sweeping things under the carpet – emotionally. The New Moon is helping you to release and let go of some of the negative energy that has been building up.
This will help put certain topics as a point of discussion to find solutions and a way forward. So hold space for yourself, acknowledge and understand your feelings. If it involves how you feel about someone close to you or issues that have been difficult to approach, then this is the right time to sit down and talk openly.

Don’t let your past dictate how you see your future. The very strong and steady message I am being asked to share is that we need to keep the faith. This is the time to work hard to put work into motion but we need to be patient to see the progress.

People will grate on us and it will seem like we are pushing against the grain. Be patient and be kind. They will be going through the same things you are.

The energy will be shifting as we have two big events this month – the Full Moon on the 17th and Summer Solstice on the 21st. The Full Moon will be in Sagittarius which is going to trigger some leap of faiths and activate the adventurer in you. The the introvert and those who are prone to anxiety will already be triggered at this New Moon as you are being prepared to be pushed out of your comfort zone. Meanwhile Neptune will be Retrograding on the 21st which is also the Summer Solstice. All I will say now is that you are being prepared for face the music. Time to dig deep and really hold on to what is important to you.

New Moon Ritual:

~ Smudge the house with sage or frankincense. Start at the front of the door and go around the house and back to the same place.

~ Put your crystals out in clean cooled boiled water. Make sure to avoid crystals that dissolve in water. Check this list.

~ Prepare two sheets of paper. One is to set your intention and the other is your “let go” list. Start with your Intentions List – write down what you want more of, in your life. You can be as general or as specific as you want. Make sure it is something achievable. I find lottery wins unrealistic, instead ask for “a gift of money” which opens up the energy for other people’s money to reach you.

~ Now prepare your “Let go” list. Think about what the emotions are telling you, issues that have been cropping up, problems that seem to around you and look at how you can change it – is it your reaction, angry, passiveness or perhaps being too nice? Do you need to change a habit or be proud of your abilities? What do you need to let go of in order to manifest your intentions list?

~ On the night before the New Moon or on the night, go outside and look at the sky. Doesn’t matter if the sky is cloudy, Mother Moon is there. Close your eyes and say this prayer “Mother Moon, energy from outside to within. Please help me to push against these emotions to see from inside to the outside” In a clean empty flower pot or pottery bowl, burn the “let go” list first and ask Mother Moon to release and heal. Once it has turned into ash, burn the Intentions list and hold positive thoughts – as in really feel the things you have asked for, happening.

Read my Moon Ritual if you would like a step by step guide on how to do your moon rituals.

This is a good time to get some Healing booked in to clear your energy and get some release from issues. Walks in nature and walking barefoot on grass will help centre and ground you. Meditation is also advisable.

Happy New Moon,

Angela

February Super Snow Full Moon

19/2/19
3.53pm UK

This full moon will appear fuller and brighter tonight. This is the 2nd of the supermoons this year (Jan, Feb & March) but this is to be the brightest and most active of energy.

I spent this evening standing outside in the cold, breathing in the energy and feeling the strength slipping into my aura.

There were two colours that appeared in the energy cords – green and red. Now most of us know that green represents healing while red is about passion.

Green brings about balance, growth, freshness and harmony. The more we heal the pain and the past then we can grow and create the harmony that all desire in our lives. Most of us feel very “stuck” in our lives and often feel like you are swimming against the tide. In actual fact you are. Because as long as you don’t address that is holding you back or feeling the pain, there is no way forward.

Red to me reminds me of our great inner strength. Sometimes we have to reflect to see how strong we really are. This often sparks a new sense of inspiration, energy and also courage. Why do we always look up to celebrities or leaders when we have so much to learn and be inspired by our own stories? Look at how far you have come to find the path to the future.

Red tells me we have to live life to the fullest. Embrace it and enjoy it. if you feel your shine has been diminished, then find the spark through art, music, travel, writing or a new activity that doesn’t need to be expensive. Find a way out.

Red is the colour of our Root Chakra – Mūlādhāra. The most balancing and important chakra. This is connected to your security and passion for life. Most people who are blocked in their Mūlādhāra feel very threatened very easily which could also result in a very short temper. In some cases anxiety in social situations (the issue I know is wider and more complicated with anxiety)

I know as I write this that the energy has given me the theme for this month’s full moon – healing the root – getting into the real issues that feel like a threat.

There is a lot to say about this but I feel like I need to focus on the main issues:

1. We will be taken out of our comfort zones and made to face people or situations. I feel there will be some past issues to resolve. Use this as a chance to deal with it and let it go. Diffuse the situation, heal it and try to keep an open mind. This is being brought to you for a reason.

2. Manifesting is HIGH right now. So keep your thoughts clean from negative self sabotage stuff that will keep bringing what we call “bad luck”. Choose LOVE and be positive. You are not alone, even if you feel alone in your situation. There are loads of people who are suffering and experiencing difficulty. it is how we deal with it and how fast we can find solutions that make a difference. It is easy to blame others but that never gets us out of a challenging time.

3. Put your energy into visualising your future and what you want. Look its free and there is no harm in dreaming about a positive future!

4. Be kind to yourself. I keep feeling a need to hug someone who reads my page because you are so critical and hard on yourself. Love yourself and treat yourself well my friend. We have one life.

5. This full moon is about letting go of stubbornness and allowing yourself to see the full picture. We all “cut off our nose to spite our face” at times. This is important because the energy is asking us to broaden our vision and to see the full picture.

6. You will be shown what you need to let go in order to bring in the new so keep an eye out for this.

7. Try to create some time this week (better if you an do it today or tomorrow) to meditate. Place paper and a pen by your side, light some incense or sage if you want and play this music – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sG1vUByjAU&t=2854s its absolutely gorgeous and calming. Straighten your spine and just listen with your eyes closed. Write down any thoughts that fall into your mind afterwards. Don’t worry if you fall asleep. Just means you needed the calm.

Do my Moon Ritual tonight or tomorrow evening – http://angela-mitchell.co.uk/fullmoonrituals to manifest your hearts desire.

Three things to do this Winter Solstice & Full Moon Weekend

Three things to do this Winter Solstice & Full Moon Weekend

This weekend is super charged with energies that will bring change and disrupt to bring transformation. The Solstice is the nature’s way to remind us not to take things for granted that our modern life is fragile. For example all the technology in the world cannot replace the sunlight, and things don’t always go to plan.

We have to be ready to change to be able to transform and shift our consciousness. Because new beginnings are on the way.

November’s full moon would have given most of us a new sense of determination to make things work so new ideas and opportunities would have been shown to you. Hard work and that resolve would have brought in some results. However these last week or so would have seen you feel a little unbalanced.

There is a sudden sense of loss of direction and questions may have risen about purpose. Don’t be disheartened as this is temporary! Just pause and put your trust in the universe. Take all the actions you need to and leave it to work its magic until after the holidays. There are some things you simply cannot rush through. There will be things that will crop up to help you tweak your plans which you wouldn’t be able to do on hindsight. So just remember that a delay or pause isn’t always a bad thing.

One of the things about the Solstice combined with the Full Moon is that it will TRIGGER you but you won’t know why!  Hence most of us are feeling a little angry and some will even experience that sinking feeling in the stomach. Look beyond the situations that activate these response from you. Who and why? What can you do to change it? These are lessons and messages in some way. Always dig deeper than the surface to understand why and then look for the “how”. How to deal with it? For example is there someone who keeps spewing negativity on FB that makes you angry? How can you do deal with it? Unfollow, defriend, block, ignore or just step away from Facebook for a while?  The choice is yours.

In order to shift or grow as a person, we have to keep filtering out the toxic people and situations so we literally leave the baggage behind. So times like this help us to let go so we have less issues to deal with in the New Year. Sometimes it is best to just cut the cord! It doesn’t mean you are a bad person.

The energy feels a little mischievous! I sense that some of us are feeling rebellious and will want to go against the grain! This can be a useful thing if you are someone who goes out of their way to make everyone else happy or a stickler to the rules. Doing things differently and being a little playful could really help you grow.

If you are a little empathetic or sensitive to energy then you will have felt a strong pull towards the unknown. It is like you know there is a big transformation taking place but you can’t put your finger on it. Ears may be ringing, headaches and also very tense neck muscles.

So this means you have to LISTEN more than you talk this week. You are either not listening to what is being said, so trying to hide from the situation or not allowing anyone else’s opinion in. Time to listen to all arguments to a problem and then making your mind up.

With Christmas next week and stress levels being so high, tempers will flare but there are plenty of triggers so just breathe through your anger and even resentment. Just remember that the combination of the Solstice and the Full Moon tomorrow is all about transformation and will shake things up.

However like lunar energy, this will affect people at different levels. Some will feel very grounded and magical, others highly unsettled. This is because we are all individuals on different places on the path so it cannot be the same for everyone. It also depends on how open we are to change. The more open – the easier and those who fight against it will have a harder time.

Many of us felt incredibly lethargic about two weeks ago and very thirsty too! This is because the energy was building up rapidly and our body were slow to adjust.

Another thing to note is that while I said for some, progress will be slow over the next few weeks, others may find themselves making very sudden decisions about career or business! You may have been grappling for an idea or thought for a while now, procrastinating and fearing it but now it will come to you in a snap! It will all make sense in your mind and the decision will be an easy one to make. Expect some ruffled feathers though. Do remember that new beginnings are slightly challenging as you have to figure things out as you go along. It is a path not yet known.

Now the last Full Moon of 2018 comes to us on Dec 22nd.  This is in the Cancer which is a water sign which means there is an emphasis on emotions and communications. A few days before Christmas with travel chaos, pressure to get everything right and demands put on us, there is no doubt stress is HUGE. So it is important to find ways to keep calm and breathe as much as possible before you communicate otherwise it will be laden with your stress.

There is divine female energy associated with both the sign and the Moon. You will want to protect those close to you, almost like a female tiger. Feelings to do with love, nurturing and companionship will be high. Time to protect that fragile heart of yours and also be compassionate. I feel I need to speak to those who have suffered abuse or have deep resentment in their hearts right now.  Forgiveness is not a weakness. It is not a sign that you have lost. Forgiveness is freedom. This will be a very emotionally charged time so do take care of yourselves.

Remember everything you do these next few days will shape the coming year. We can only move forward if we let go of the past.

21.12.18 in numerology is a number 8 day. This is a reminder about BALANCE – power and emotions. We need a balance with both so make sure you don’t give your power out to other people and equally don’t hog it either! Eight is also known as Karma – you reap what you sow! If you put in the hard work then you will be busy enjoying your rewards next year. This is a number that is associated with abundance so keep your thought positive!

Imagine you have an extra-large suitcase and next to it are rows of people who have been in your life so far. On another row is are heavy bricks filled with pain, anger, tears and resentment. Next to them are clouds of laughter, happiness, happy memories and love.

Now visualise that you fill up the bag with people and the bricks plus a tiny percentage of the clouds.  Your bag will be HEAVY! Now imagine that you have to drag that bag around for the rest of your life. Sounds arduous doesn’t it? Well it certainly is but we humans do this to ourselves sometimes.  We do have a choice even at heart breaking moments on how we deal with life. The person who filled the bag with clouds and just a handful of significant people would have only needed a cabin bag and it would have been extremely light.

Focus on the LIGHT. It won’t hold you back!

THREE THINGS TO DO BETWEEN NOW AND SATURDAY

  1. Clean the house, get some fresh flowers in and smudge the house with sage
  2. Put your crystals out to reenergise in the moon light
  3. Write down your wish list and the things you want to let go of. Burn on the 22nd

Learn how to do your Moon Ritual here.

Note: it is okay to do the above on Sunday as the energy is still strong the day after.

Happy Solstice & Full Moon 2018
