The physical symptoms many of us are experiencing right now is a very “heady” sensation, like the head is in the clouds or a head flu sensation. This is a passing feeling and all will be well by the weekend.

There is a valid reason for this as Gemini brings us to our logical mind, brimming with ideas and encourages action.

We have all the missing pieces to the puzzle but are yet to see the full picture therefore struggling to put down our next piece. The mind is overactive trying to solve a situation or problem right now which is why we have this funny feeling.

It is a confusing time as well for many. You may have gained momentum in one area of your life and realised you have neglected another. So you are likely playing catch up right now. Others will feel they have taken five steps ahead and pushed back by three steps.

Breathe…..breathe….. and take a step back. Don’t let yourself be overwhelmed or lose your confidence. Keep breathing and stay in a positive space as things WILL get better in one way or the other. Until then you will feel emotional. a little angry, teary and even wanting to keep to yourself.

Mars is also on Retrograde until June 26th, two days before the Strawberry Full Moon. This new moon is really digging into our core emotions and helping us shift energetically.  The throat chakra has also been vibrating. It’s almost as if the weather in the UK is reflecting our emotions today. Cry, be a hermit or meditate. Do what you need to do to ride this. Until then you will be dealing with the past – experiences, people, learning lessons and so on.

The challenge during heavy energy periods is keeping the faith. It is very easy to feel challenged and then give up. Our biggest achievement is being able to see new ideas and solutions in the dark.

Sometimes we have to be pushed into the darkness to find the light. Change your perspective and change your life.

Find some time for yourself and a quiet corner. Sit comfortably in a chair, bed or on the floor. Burn some incense if you want or even a scented candle. Tomorrow’s Pink Full Moon is in Scorpio which feels like a very deep cleansing and transformative time for all of us. The cycle from the last New Moon amplified by the potent energy of the Mercury Retrograde was crazy to say the least. Vivid almost prophetic dreams, emotional and many of us were blindsided by unexpected issues.

I won’t be surprised if you have had dreams that involves water the sign of communication but also emotions. Our emotions affect how we communicate or interpret messages from and to people. Our communication can also impact on our emotions therefore these are the themes you have to work with the next three months.

Try to listen more, to see the body language, resist from being too sharp with your words and don’t take things to heart if the delivery of a message is hurtful. Look past it and listen to what is being said not how. This will benefit you in the long run.

Full Moons are great at filtering out the clutter out of our lives and forces us to face the “let go” aspects of our personality, habits or even relationships. For example if someone you have always tolerated but kept at arm’s length starts featuring in your life a week or two before a Full Moon things get a little heated, then know it’s for the best. You will be given a choice – tolerate this person and maybe see how they have changed, and how this relationship has evolved OR you may just lose patience and this person will leave your life, slamming the door behind them. You will obviously feel angry and uncomfortable with this at first, but trust that this had to happen.

During a Scorpio Full Moon, it will “sting” at first but then things will get better. So keep a watch on things you have had to deal with a week before and the week after the full moon. Be open to change and transformation. The less resistance you give the universe at this time, the less painful it will be. The more you fight it, the harder it will be.  Surrender and breathe!

It has to be acknowledged and cleared at some point. You have underlying stress and physical pain relating to this so please release them now and you will feel better.

Some of us will be facing health issues. Self-care is very important and you are being forced to look after yourselves and get to the source of the problems. My mother always had a herb or food that helped with sickness but we knew when it was time for modern medicine. There are things that alternative medicines can help with and other more serious things that need an MRI or an operation to solve. If you have been in denial then please look into this now before things get serious.

We are also being pushed to look after our emotional health. Self-care is about your physical body but also your emotional layer. Be kind to yourself and be in love with yourself. Give yourself some time to process things before jumping into action, take time off for yourself and don’t be so hard on yourself.

The energy has been raw and intense these last two weeks due to the Mercury Retrograde which started on March 22nd and ends on April 15th.
 
Retrograde period is generally not a good idea to start anything new. For most of us, it is a time lay low and keep your thoughts to yourself. Communication and electrical issues are common so buying new things or trying to get people to respond to you will be a painful experience.
 
When Mercury is in Retrograde, the energy is conducive for planning and adopting a “hermit” approach. Anything else will result in a frustrating experience as things tend to go wrong. Plan now and be ready to take action after April 15th because things will move rather quickly by then. So you want to be prepared.
 
Many of us feel very nervous, extremely hot in our bodies, dehydrated and issues may crop up for you to deal with. This is the universe asking you to deal with health issues head on before it turns into a big problem.
 
I had a niggly tooth issue and I have been trying not to go to the dentist. Then i woke up the other day with pounding head and tooth. I just knew that if I didn’t go see the dentist, there would be an expensive and not to mention painful outcome. Luckily they spotted an early abscess which is now being controlled by antibiotics.
 
So if you have something that has been bothering you, please don’t self medicate, this is cropping up for a reason. Go see your doctor.
 
We as humans try to sweep things under the carpet but the Universe knows best and will show us the signs to take care of ourselves.
 
The reason for the physical symptoms I described above is that there is a huge amount of energy and activity astrologically speaking. This is intensified by the fact that we have a full moon tomorrow and its the 2nd BLUE FULL MOON of 2018.
 
Why is this special? The last time we had two Blue Moons in a year was 1999 and it won’t happen again until 2037! The energy has been building up since Jan 31st Full Moon.
 
The energy is intense and some raw feelings have been surfacing for us to deal with, mostly bringing up emotions for us to deal with, leaving us feeling frustrated, exposed and vulnerable.
 
March has also felt very sluggish and dense. January to February felt very fast and we were almost breathless trying to catch up. We are being slowed down for a reason. Time to take a breath, look after our health and review our journey.
 
March being the 3rd month of the year, represents balance – MIND, BODY and SOUL. If you have been neglecting any of the three then you will be slowed down to review your life path. We need a harmony within our body, mind, and soul to be happy.
 
March’s full moon is in Libra which again, is about BALANCE and justice. If you have been feeling unsure about yourself lately then this full moon will help re-align you to your roots.

The New Moon and Solar Eclipse on February 15, 2018 fall the day after St Valentine’s Day, a universal celebration of love and relationships. As it falls on the Aquarius sign, which has a strong accent on relationships, intellect and sense of community, we are being asked to view our emotions and how people influence us. Some of us shy away from being “involved” and like to stand by the sidelines, hoping someone else will take charge and not be noticed. You may this may start to change as there will be a need to come out from the shadows and seek companionship by active participation. So is there a cause or an interest that you have been wanting to be a part of but have been scared? This is the perfect opportunity to put yourself forward because you stand to gain so much by doing so. 

The Solar Eclipse asks us to look into our “darkness” to acknowledge the things we keep burying inside of us. They influence us in so many ways that we subconsciously know but refuse to acknowledge. Be true to yourself and face the darkness within to shine the light from within.

A Solar Eclipse is powerful because the Moon eclipses the Sun but this month it will be a partial eclipse. As it falls on the New Moon which is the beginning of a new cycle, so this will bring about deep discussions about relationships for those who are in partnerships. For those who are single, this will be a time where you will start thinking about manifesting your soul mate and release any set ideas about marriage and children. There is rising female energy associated with this new cycle and it feels very empowering and life changing. Use this time to make space for your loved ones, have open honest discussions to move forward and practise rituals to honour your own spirit.

Physical Symptoms : fatigue, vivid dreams, headaches, stomach issues and some may feel excessive thirst. Drink some flower base tea and ginger seeped in hot water.

New Moon Ritual 

  • Do your Moon Ritual between tonight and Friday night. Here are instructions on how to sage, write your wishlist and cleanse your crystals.
  • Meditate –  You need 5 mins, a comfy chair or space, light some nice incense and ear phones. Leave a note book and pen next to you. Put this beautiful meditation music on your phone/ipad. Breathe in and out slowly. Let your thoughts drift away and just relax into the music. You can put the video on loop so you can listen to it longer than 5mins. Incredibly relaxing and calming. Write down anything that pops into your mind and see how it relates to your life.
  • Pay attention to your dreams as this is the only time our minds are not in control. Write down your dreams in a dream book with date and time of waking.  Track the coincidences and messages in your day and compare it to your dreams. You may find that there will be a message or symbol that relates to what is happening around you. Often emotions are also expressed in dreams. For example if you are trying to suppress your emotion or anxiety in your day then your dream may give you a clue as to how you are really feeling.

Ten Steps to Start 2018 Positively

The energy, like the stress levels rises up and down at this time of the year. We go through the stress, the happy phase and then a dip into the depression of everything being over so quickly. Before we can take a deep breath, 2018 is around the corner and then another stress pike hits us. Then the general deflation of going back to work and dealing with the endless advertising for gym memberships and diet deals slam dunk us into another vicious cycle of the blues. Image result for 2018

We do this every year and yet we start off the year with this brilliant hang over energy hoping to forget the year that has been and put all our eggs into the new year which is like telling a new starter in a company that they are to be this or that. Imagine the pressure of living up to people’s expectations!

The thing is, the New Year is LIFE. There are some things is in your control and others, that are not. You cannot control who will die, who will have a terminal illness, how your company is run and how that will affect your employment nor can you stop yourself from feeling unhappy.

You can however try to be kind to yourself so that will start a circle of good things around you, deal with situations better, go see the doctor if you feel ill and prevent a bigger illness, take care of yourself, attract the right people, and do more of happy. You can stop going into one relationship to the other, you can set aside time to study or improve your skills, spend time with people you love, plan things and be in control of what you can achieve in your life.

Start of 2018 in a more positive way. Here is a list of things you can put into practice before or on the first week of the New Year. You will need a new note book or a sheet of paper for some of the ideas below.

1. Learn from the Bad stuff

The problem with wishing away the year is that we miss out on the lessons or the positives that could push us forward in 2018. There are so many good things that have happened, bad stuff also have good things in them and lessons to be learned. Remember in the darkness there is always light, we just have to find it. What did you learn from that experience? Did you find that you were a lot stronger than you thought? Were you able to stand up for yourself in a positive away? Draw two columns in a note book or sheet. Mark one, “Situation” and the other “Lessons”. You can also add another two column to indicate date/time and another for “Positive/Negative”. Now write down as clearly and succinctly as possible what happened and the in lessons, think of how you overcame, reacted or learned from the situation. There is no right or wrong answers, this is about YOU and how it affected you. If you decided on the positive/negative then indicate what the outcome for you was. You can list as many or as little as you want. Once you have finished, take a look, read through and see how your words make you feel and look at how many positives or negatives occurred. This is a great exercise as if you encounter similar or recurring situations in 2018. You can go back and see the pattern forming and you will have another revelation or learning to uncover. 2. Letting Go – This is simply to put on paper, the things you feel you need to “let go” off – emotions, attitudes or habits that you feel stops you from going forward

3. Spring clean – start the New Year with a clean slate. Decluttering the house can be the start of the clearing of the mind. Get rid of the things you don’t need. Do this in a mindful way so that you are not thinking of anything other than what you are doing in the moment. Give away or throw but get the house in order. This helps to get your own mind in order and focused.

4. Gratitude Jar – this is a good time to open your jar and start reading the good stuff that happened over the year. If you don’t have one, then start a new one for 2018. Get an old large jar and decorate it as you will. Write down your day or week’s highlight into the jar as often as you can. Open up and read around this time next year.

5. Friends & Family – write down a list of people you would like to spend more time with in 2018. This is even people you are no longer speaking to or haven’t been in touch with. Put down an activity or even a place you would like to be with them, next to their name. Make it a realistic list and an activity. Go back later this year to reflect on how you can make it happen or be surprised at who calls or messages you in the year. Write down another list of people who make you feel bad or guilty. Let this list serve you when you encounter the same patterns the coming year. You have choices and options. Never feel that you MUST or NEED to spend time with anyone who makes you feel bad.

6. Write down five things you want to see happen in 2018. This is about YOU so leave out your children, partner or friends. Just about what you want and need.

7. What do you want to transform this year? Is there a part of you that needs transformation? If there is ONE thing that the Universe could do for you, what would that be? Emotion, relationship, career, health, mental clarity, money….etc

It makes my body relax but also create a very beautiful space around me. Create a space and time for yourself so you won’t be disturbed. Leave your notebook or a sheet of paper next to you with a pen.You can do this for 10mins or an hour, totally up to you. Make yourself comfortable and put on the music. Close your eyes and breathe in and out a few times until you feel your body relaxing. Focus only on the chant and let your mind drift to the words. Now set an intention to relax and to feel positive. Write down any thoughts, ideas or words that come to you when you open your eyes. Read through later and think of what it means to you.

9. New Year Smudging & Energy Clearance

Clear the energy by smudging the house with sage. I prefer white Californian sage but you can use frankincense or just a bunch of your favourite incense.  Put on this Mahalakshmi Gaytri Mantra as you do this this chant is calling on Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth to come grace you with good fortune. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEcn2Bvakr4 Start the north most area of the house or flat and work around clockwise with the sage, focusing only on your 3rd eye and putting out an intention to clear the energy and for good stuff in 2018. Try not to be distracted and try to keep positive. When you get back where you started, put your palms together and welcome Lakshmi to your house.
